Posting rules
Keep listings local, honest, and legal. Listings that break these rules are removed, and repeat or serious violations get the account suspended.
The basics
- Post in the category and area that fit. One item or offer per listing.
- Don't post the same thing more than once. Renew an existing listing instead.
- Use your own photos and words. Describe the item or job accurately, including flaws.
- Prices must be real. No bait prices or "message for price" on items for sale.
- Keep it to Las Vegas and the surrounding area.
Not allowed
- Anything illegal to sell or advertise in Nevada or under federal law.
- Weapons, firearms, ammunition, and firearm parts.
- Drugs, drug paraphernalia, prescription medications, and cannabis.
- Alcohol and tobacco or vaping products.
- Adult services, sexual content, or anything that could involve trafficking.
- Live animals for sale (rehoming fees for pets are allowed only in Community → Announcements, with no breeding operations).
- Counterfeit, stolen, or recalled goods.
- Tickets sold above face value where prohibited, and gambling-related offers.
- Multi-level marketing, "work from home" schemes, and pay-to-apply jobs.
- Listings that discriminate. Housing listings must follow the Fair Housing Act and Nevada law: no preferences based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
- Someone else's private information, including addresses, phone numbers, or photos posted without consent.
- Harassment, threats, or hateful content.
Services and jobs
- Contractor work that requires a Nevada State Contractors Board license must include the license number.
- Job listings must describe a real position with the actual pay or pay range when known.
Moderation
New posters' listings may be reviewed before going live. Listings with many links, flagged words, or text matching another account's listing may also be held for review. Moderators may edit category or location to fit, or remove listings that break these rules.
